Meeting called to order by –Joe Senzatimore- at 7:00 PM.
· Treasurers Report: Steve Zimic- Chairman– Submitted via-e-mail-Motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report for October 2011- with closing balance for October of $3,042.91. Accepted by Joe, seconded by Valerie. A donation of $300 has been given to the Levittown Library by our club in appreciation for allowing us to meet there. Committee Reports:
· Membership: Steve Zimic-Chairman- Membership dues will remain the same $40. Please get your payment to Steve so that you will be able to participate in Club activities and Competitions. If you have any address or e-mail address changes please let us know.
· Members Workshop/Programs: Joe Senzatimore –Chairperson- Holiday Party- Monday-December 19. A Sign-up List {for Party Food Contributions – cookies, cakes etc}, will be passed around at our next few meetings. If you would like to bring something or help out sign up!! And, of course – we look forward to your slide shows! Ken will let everyone know the particulars- cut-off date etc. See you there!
· End of Year Dinner: Speaking about Parties- Thank you Loretta for offering to help out and organize the End of Year Dinner!! Your Restaurant suggestions welcome.
· Joe has posted the NCCC Calendar for the first part of the Season 2011-2012 and is working on the second half. Upcoming Workshops and Programs include: Members Critique Nite, Portrait Re-touching in Photoshop and a “Members Idea Nite” a chance to make your ideas and feelings known—how we can make our Club better! Make your feelings known! In addition, Dick Hunt will present a very interesting and informative program on “The History of Photography”. Steve Zimic also, will be doing a workshop on working with Topaz Selections. Joe will be sending the final dates to Ron for posting on the Web-site. And, if you have any ideas for upcoming Programs let us know!
· Prints and Digital: John Telfer-Chairman- for Prints. The New news for this year is that we will be able to submit 3 images in all three categories {Black & White, Color and Digital} and have the two highest scores count. Ken Thalheimer- Chairman- for Digital. Joe will be posting the step by step instructions for preparing images for Digital Competition on our Web-site. Ken will be sending out cut-off date notices. Please, try and get your Digital submissions to him as soon as possible. The theme for this years May 2012 Competition- will be “People in Motion”. Thanks John and Ken for all of the work you both do- much appreciated!
· Selection Committee: Valerie Interligi- Chairperson- members include- John, Ken, Kathy, Steve and Joe.
· Judges: Joe Senzatimore -Chairperson- We will be continuing the 18-27 point spread as was initiated last year-allowing more flexibility for the Judges scoring. See Calendar on our Web-site for listing of upcoming Judges and Competition schedule.
· Hospitality: - Thank you Kathy and Joe!!! We are spoiled and as Ken said,” Keep the Reese’s coming!!!” Again Thank you.
· Field Trips: - Ken suggested we do a kind of Photography Meet-Up program. If you have any ideas or suggestions for possible Field Trips let us know.
· Web Master: Ron Ettus - Chairman- Ron has suggested that it might be time to update the gallery on the Web-site. Contact him for any additions or changes.
· PFLI News: Joe Senzatimore- Chairman and Club Representative
